Literamed Publications Nigeria Limited was incorporated in April 1969, initially to publish Medipharm, the first medical index of pharmaceutical specialties in Nigeria. The success of Medipharm led to the establishment of our printing press in 1972. Recognizing the need for strong educational foundations, Literamed expanded into children’s publishing through Lantern Books, producing curriculum-aligned textbooks and enriching storybooks. In 2004, we launched The Comics Hut, creators of Cowrie Comics and Living Scrolls, bringing African stories and biblical narratives to life through art.
